In June 1981, members of the self-managed Longo Maï farm and local friends set up a free radio on a hill between Limans and Forcalquier: a stone station among the oaks, heated by a wood stove. It now broadcasts on FM across the southern Alps, and on DAB+ around Marseille and Aix. World music, rebel songs, critical news and themed shows: it refuses all advertising and lives on its listeners' support.
